Operable
Navigation and interactive elements should also be usable without a mouse.
Datalab actively promotes and monitors compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We build this website so that information, navigation and contact options are usable for as many visitors as possible.
This website is designed with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the standard. This means we pay attention to semantic HTML, clear headings, keyboard operation, sufficient contrast, text alternatives and predictable interactions.
Accessibility is not a one-off check. New pages, components and content must follow the same standard. If we find an issue, we include it in maintenance or resolve it directly.
We combine design choices, technology and content agreements.
Navigation and interactive elements should also be usable without a mouse.
Text, contrast and alternatives should make information accessible.
Pages use a recognisable heading structure, landmarks and consistent navigation.
We prefer native HTML elements and limit unnecessary client-side complexity.
We test and review accessibility during development and maintenance. This includes automated checks, manual review and user feedback where needed.
If you experience a barrier, such as a problem with keyboard operation, contrast, screen readers, forms or downloads, please let us know via info@datalab.nl. Preferably include the page, device, browser and what goes wrong.
We review reports substantively and resolve accessibility issues as quickly as possible.
Everyone should be able to use our information. That is why we actively invite visitors to report barriers.
Send your report to info@datalab.nl or contact us through the contact page.
