Datalab actively promotes and monitors compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We build this website so that information, navigation and contact options are usable for as many visitors as possible.

Our standard

This website is designed with WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the standard. This means we pay attention to semantic HTML, clear headings, keyboard operation, sufficient contrast, text alternatives and predictable interactions.

Accessibility is not a one-off check. New pages, components and content must follow the same standard. If we find an issue, we include it in maintenance or resolve it directly.

We combine design choices, technology and content agreements.

Operable

Navigation and interactive elements should also be usable without a mouse.

Perceivable

Text, contrast and alternatives should make information accessible.

Clear structure

Pages use a recognisable heading structure, landmarks and consistent navigation.

Semantic foundation

We prefer native HTML elements and limit unnecessary client-side complexity.

Continuous improvement

We test and review accessibility during development and maintenance. This includes automated checks, manual review and user feedback where needed.

We review reports substantively and resolve accessibility issues as quickly as possible.
